The original Cobequid Multi-Service Centre, now the Cobequid Community Health Centre, was established as a result of the work of two nurses Shirley Freer & Carol Crosby. They saw a need in the community and advocated until that need was met. We work hard to remember these roots.
We are people from the community, taking care of our community. Each donation helps us make a difference in the healthcare that is available right here. We are committed to transforming the community hospital experience, but we know we cannot embark on this ambitious journey alone. Help us continue to make our community a better place to live.
Our mission is to inspire a strong spirit of giving to promote the advancement of healthcare closer to home. We desire to make our community a better place to live by providing quality healthcare for all.
